the Occasion of the Presentation of the Commemorative Gift presented by the Prime Minister of Malta to Her Majesty Elizabeth II – 24th November 2005

Bristow Potteries Manufacturing Ltd has established its brand equity in Malta in the production of ceramic art with a state-of-the art technology, combined by thirty years of traditional craftsmanship.

The creative designs are inspired by the heritage of the Mediterranean culture, adorning private homes, presidential palaces, prestigious hotels and restaurants amongst the renowned buildings.

The Bristow collection of volcanic stone tabletops is an exclusively, hand painted ceramic art product handcrafted by our highly specialised artisans. Bristow Potteries is the first in Malta to offer these prestigious, remarkable and refined products.

The design team of Bristow Potteries initiated the conceptualisation process in creating a commemorative concept theme, in coordination with the Office of the Prime Minister, months ahead of the announced state visit of Her Majesty.

The historical association of the Maltese Islands with the Order of St.John inspired the company’s directors to design the renowned eight-pointed cross in its faithful origination as depicted in the array of artistic sculptures and paintings that adorn the Co-Cathedral of St.John, a landmark in the country’s capital city, Valletta.

The decision fell on selecting a round shaped volcanic stone table – the current flagship product of this company.

The presentation was held on this day in the office of the Prime Minister of Malta, Dr. Lawrence Gonzi with the following inscription:-

“A gift from People of Malta to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, presented by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi on the occasion of the Queen's State Visit24th November 2005”
